• Solid understanding of database fundamentals, data models, and architecture.

We are seeking a versatile and solution‑oriented Data Engineer / CDP Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals who excel at leveraging customer data to solve complex business challenges, working across data engineering, integrations, and activation workflows. You will primarily work with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real‑Time CDP (RT‑CDP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), to support end‑to‑end use case delivery—from data ingestion to journey orchestration and channel activation. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen to transform data into actionable insights and personalized customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement schemas and other data objects based on defined data models within CDP platforms.
• Debug and test APIs using industry‑standard tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Perform comprehensive data validation and analysis using APIs and Query Services.
• Develop sophisticated queries, segments, and audiences for targeted activation campaigns.
• Implement data elements, rules, and transformations within CDP dataflows to ensure data quality and usability.
• Collaborate closely with Data Architects to align development activities with overall data strategy.
• Orchestrate customer journeys based on detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Strong foundational knowledge and practical experience in Data Engineering principles.
• Deep experience with various API methodologies (SOAP, REST, CURL) for integration and data exchange.
• Solid understanding of Database fundamentals, Data models, and Architecture.

Preferred

• Experience with cloud‑based data integration and Big Data platforms.
• Understanding of Data Ingestion processes and Developer Console functionalities.
• Experience with complex SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in handling various data formats, including JSON and Parquet.
• Client‑facing experience and certifications in AEP/AJO or other Customer Data Platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Treasure Data).
