• Evaluate triage cases: respond to urgent calls from ED or antenatal units.
• Conduct ward rounds: review emergency gyn and postnatal inpatients and update treatment plans.
• Perform handovers: communicate patient statuses to the incoming shift team.
• Order and interpret tests: review urgent ultrasounds, blood tests, or fetal heart rate tracings.

• Manage labor and delivery: Monitor active labor, assist with vaginal deliveries, or prepare for emergency C-sections if cross-trained in obstetrics.
• Evaluate triage cases: Respond immediately to urgent calls from the emergency department, triage, or the antenatal assessment unit.
• Conduct ward rounds: Review all emergency gynaecology and postnatal inpatients, updating treatment plans as needed.
• Perform handovers: Communicate critical patient statuses, pending labs, and active issues clearly to the incoming shift team.
