Qualifications

• MBBS with MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology required.
• Valid State Medical Council registration required.
• 1+ year post-qualification experience preferred.
• Experience in antenatal care, deliveries, and gynecological procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecological consultations.
• Manage antenatal, labour, delivery, and postnatal care.
• Perform normal and assisted vaginal deliveries.
• Perform Caesarean sections and other obstetric/gynae surgeries.
• Diagnose and manage gynecological disorders.
• Attend obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
• Counsel on reproductive health, family planning, infertility, menopause, and preventive care.
• Coordinate care with paediatrics, anaesthesiology, and nursing teams.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in community outreach and CMEs.

The Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist is responsible for providing comprehensive care to women across all stages of life, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and gynaecological services, while ensuring safe maternal and reproductive healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynaecological consultations.
• Manage antenatal, labour, delivery, and postnatal care.
• Perform normal and assisted vaginal deliveries.
• Perform Caesarean sections and other obstetric and gynaecological surgeries.
• Diagnose and manage gynaecological disorders.
• Attend obstetric and gynaecological emergencies.
• Counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, infertility, menopause, and preventive care.
• Coordinate care with paediatricians, anaesthetists, physicians, and nursing staff.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in community outreach programmes, women's health awareness initiatives, and CMEs.

Qualification

• MBBS with MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Valid State Medical Council registration.
• Above 1 year of post-qualification experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Experience in managing antenatal care, deliveries, Caesarean sections, and gynaecological procedures is preferred.
