Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS with obstetrics/gynecology specialization is required.

• Conduct routine antenatal and postnatal check-ups for pregnant women, including monitoring fetal development and maternal health.
  
• Perform comprehensive patient examinations, including blood pressure measurement, abdominal palpation, and fetal heart rate monitoring.
  
• Assist in normal vaginal deliveries under the supervision of senior medical staff, ensuring safe delivery practices and immediate neonatal care.
  
• Provide guidance and counseling on nutrition, pregnancy milestones, labor preparation, and postpartum recovery.
  
• Conduct routine gynecological check-ups, including pelvic exams and screening for common conditions.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
  
• Identify and manage early signs of complications during pregnancy and postpartum, initiating timely referrals when necessary.
  
• Respond promptly to basic obstetric emergencies, applying standard protocols for stabilization and care.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  
• Stay updated with clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
