Felix Hospital is looking for a skilled and dedicated Attending Consultant – Emergency Medicine to provide timely, evidence-based care to emergency patients and manage acute and critical cases in a fast-paced emergency department.
Assess, diagnose and manage emergency and acute medical conditions.
Provide immediate stabilization and treatment to critically ill and trauma patients.
Manage medical emergencies, trauma, cardiac emergencies, stroke, sepsis and respiratory emergencies.
Perform and supervise emergency procedures including resuscitation and airway management as per competency.
Lead and participate in Code Blue / CPR and advanced life-support interventions.
Conduct initial assessment, triage and appropriate disposition of patients.
Coordinate with specialists, ICU, OT, radiology, laboratory and other departments.
Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely patient handover.
Communicate effectively with patients and attendants regarding treatment and clinical condition.
Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices and patient-safety standards.
Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits and emergency department protocols.
MBBS + MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the relevant medical council.
ACLS/BLS certification preferred.
2–8 years of experience in Emergency Medicine / Emergency Department.
Experience in a multispeciality hospital with high patient volume preferred.
Strong exposure to emergency resuscitation, trauma care and critical patient management.
