Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks an ATE Lead - Software to drive development of test automation software and architectures. The role demands strong LabVIEW expertise and hands-on experience with VeriStand, LabVIEW FPGA, and TestStand across PXI/LXI platforms.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to define architectures, integrate measurement devices, and optimize test procedures for efficient, reliable hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ATE software development.
• Strong fundamentals in LabVIEW programming.
• Expertise in developing ATE application software using LabVIEW, VeriStand, LabVIEW FPGA and TestStand.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ATE software for test systems.
• Define software architectures and best-fit solutions.
• Work with measurement devices and test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, waveform generator, sensors).
• Integrate communication buses (ARINC429, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP).
• Collaborate on hardware/software integration for PXI/LXI/GPIB/USB platforms.

Key Responsibilities

ATE Lead - Software

• Having 5+ years of experience in ATE software development


• Strong fundamentals in LabVIEW programming


• Expertise in developing ATE application software using LabVIEWNon-Real time plus Labview RT, Veristand, Labview FPGA and Teststand


• Preferably CLD/CLA certified


• Understanding the test procedures, and timing requirements


• Understanding the existing frameworks and software architecture


• Defining and suggesting best fit software architectures


• Experience in dealing with measurement and simulation devices like DMM, oscilloscope, waveform generator, position/speed sensor simulators, temperature and pressure sensor simulators, ADC/DAC cards, etc.


• Experience in communication buses like ARINC429, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, etc.


• Experience in working with PXI/LXI/GPIB/USB/Serial programmable devices


• Understanding the operations of AC/DC power supplies, AC/DC loads, Motor drives, Dynos.


• Documentation Tools – MS word, Excel, Visio


• Understanding Simulink, Simscape models and deploying for HIL test (optional)
