Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Verification Engineer to develop and execute verification plans for IP, subsystem, and SoC designs, and to build reusable UVM-based environments. You will create testcases, stimulus generators, checkers, scoreboards, and coverage models while performing functional and code coverage closure.

The role requires collaboration with RTL designers and validation teams to resolve issues, analyze results, and drive bug closure, with exposure to industry

Qualifications

• Experience in verification of IP/SoC using UVM and SystemVerilog.
• Ability to build reusable verification environments and testbenches.
• Collaborates with RTL/design teams to diagnose and fix issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for IP, subsystem, and SoC-level designs.
• Build and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog-based verification environments.
• Create testcases, stimulus generators, checkers, scoreboards, and coverage models.
• Perform functional, code, assertion, and coverage closure.
• Debug SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) for protocol/design checks.
• Collaborate with RTL designers and validation teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze simulation results, identify root causes, and drive bug closure.
• Verify protocols such as AXI, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, MIPI, etc.
• Participate in regression management and verification sign-off.
• Contribute to VIP development and methodology improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for IP, subsystem, and SoC-level designs.
• Build and maintain reusable UVM/SystemVerilog-based verification environments.
• Develop testcases, stimulus generators, checkers, scoreboards, and coverage models.
• Perform functional, code, assertion, and toggle coverage closure.
• Create and debug SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) for protocol and design checking.
• Collaborate closely with RTL designers, architects, and validation teams to resolve design issues.
• Analyze simulation results, identify root causes, and drive bug closure.
• Verify industry-standard protocols such as AXI, AHB, APB, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, MIPI, or similar.
• Perform block-level, subsystem-level, and SoC-level verification.
• Participate in regression management and verification sign-off activities.
• Contribute to methodology improvements and reusable verification IP (VIP) development.
• Support emulation/FPGA-based verification where applicable.
