Job summary

Jobitus seeks an Asst. Manager - Process at its Surat facility (Sachin- Surat). The role requires 10-12 years in chemical production with hands-on supervision of batch processes and equipment such as reactors and distillation systems.

You will coordinate with QC/QA, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive process improvements to enhance yield and reduce cycle time. Bachelor engineers in Mechanical or Chemical disciplines are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in chemical process roles.
• Exposure to batch production, reactor operation, and process optimization.
• Experience with QA/QC coordination and documentation.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards in chemical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise chemical production processes, including batch preparation and product transfer.
• Operate reactors, distillation systems, centrifuges and other process equipment.
• Ensure targets, cycle time, yield and quality meet specifications.
• Track process parameters like temperature, pressure, pH, and flow rate during production.
• Coordinate with QC, QA, maintenance and stores for smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot deviations and equipment issues; maintain batch records and reports.
• Implement process optimization to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety SOPs, environmental standards and housekeeping.

• Monitor and supervise chemical production processes, including batch preparation, raw material charging, reaction monitoring and product transfer.
• Operate and monitor reactors, distillation systems, centrifuges and other process equipment.
• Ensure production targets, batch cycle time, yield and product quality are achieved as per specifications.
• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH and flow rate during production.
• Coordinate with QC, QA, maintenance and stores departments for smooth production operations.
• Troubleshoot process deviations, equipment issues and production abnormalities.
• Maintain batch manufacturing records, shift reports and process documentation.
• Implement process optimization measures to improve yield, reduce cycle time and minimize material wastage.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, environmental standards and housekeeping requirements.
• Support process improvement activities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
