Job summary

KSB is seeking an experienced Security & Safety professional for its plant in Maharashtra. The role covers administration of security, visitor handling, vendor management, scrap yard operations, and coordination with safety teams for EMS/OHSAS compliance under IMS.

Candidate should have 10–12 years of relevant experience, Graduation in any stream, and a Diploma in Safety/Fire Fighting. Local/n nearby Nashik region preferred; Ex-servicemen will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer & control security functions at plant, material & people movement.
• Manage Visitors Management system.
• Oversee AMCs - Vendor Management and Scrap Yard.
• Support safety, EMS & OHSAS compliance under IMS.
• Coordinate mock drills, fire fighting, first-aid and emergency plans.

Role & responsibilities

• Administer & Control Security functions at Plant-Material movement & people movement
• Administer Visitors Management system
• Administer all AMCs - Vendor Management
• Administer Scrap Yard Management
• Support to Safety Officer for Safety, EMS & OHSAS requirement under IMS standard-
• Mock drills, Fire Fighting, First-Aid, Emergency Preparedness plans / Training programmes.
• Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers, Hooter System. Siren System
• EHS Committee meetings
• Administer employee Transport, Locker and other Welfare amenities
• Record of employee vehicle. Handle break down/failure & alternate arrangement Gesano
• Distribution of Safety Shoes / Uniforms.
• Administer day to day Canteen activities / Garden / Estate Activities
• Administer CCTV surveillance System
• Liaise & connect with local Police Station, MIDC authorities and Non Govt authorities like local bodies Representatives of Gram Panchayat. NIMA, Representatives of MPs & MLAs, Sabhapati, etc
• Support for CSR Activities
• Provide support to Plant HR & ER / Plant Head as & when required.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirement profile:

Formal education: Graduation in any stream

Professional experience:

10-12 years of relevant experience, Diploma in Safety / Fire Fighting will be an added advantage.

Specific-Preferably from local/Nearby area of Sinnar/Nashik and Ex-serviceman will be preferable
