Job summary

Quality Hr Services is seeking an experienced Asst. Manager/Dy. Manager - Purchase (Engineering) for Thane.

The candidate should have 8–10 years of experience in procurement for engineering and manufacturing, with strong knowledge of procure-to-pay cycles and ISO-compliant processes. Responsibilities include managing P2P cycles, issuing RFQs, preparing commercial comparisons, and timely PO issuance while coordinating with suppliers, transporters, stores, and accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of experience in procurement/purchase within engineering/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of procure-to-pay cycles and ISO processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage procure-to-pay cycle with adherence to purchasing procedures for technical goods, services and equipment.
• Daily monitoring and review of purchase indents.
• Provide feedback to the immediate Manager.
• Issue requests for quotation in a timely manner.
• Prepare commercial comparisons and bids.
• Issue purchase orders promptly; minimize indent-to-PO lead time.
• Ensure procurement processes and documentation meet ISO/statutory requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers for material delivery.
• Coordinate with transporters and store for material receipt.
• Coordinate with accounts on vendor payments and other commercial matters.

• Procurement to pay cycle with adherence to purchase procedures in particular to Technical Goods Services , equipment machinery


• Daily monitoring reviewing of purchase indents,


• Giving feedback to immediate Manager


• Timely issuing request for quotation


• Preparation of commercial comparative


• Timely issuing purchase order ,Minimise indent to PO issue lead time


• To follow the Procurement process and documentation as per ISO / Statutory requirements


• Follow up with suppliers for delivery of material.


• Coordination with transporters, store team for material receipt


• Coordination with account team vendor payments and other any commercial.
