Job summary

JobItUs in Sanjan - Vapi is seeking an Asst. Manager - Accounts with 7-10 years of FMCG experience to lead day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS compliance, MIS, and financial reporting. You will supervise the accounts team and ensure timely closure of books.

Ideal candidates will have strong skills in MS Excel and ERP/Tally, inventory costing, bank reconciliation, and budgeting. The role demands attention to detail, deadline adherence, and effective cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in accounting within FMCG.
• Proficient in GST, TDS, and statutory filings.
• Ability to lead and manage an accounts team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR, billing, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, and financial reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and timely filings.
• Monitor receivables, payables, bank reconciliation, and cash flow.
• Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, and accounting entries.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Ensure proper accounting of inventory, stock adjustments, and cost-related transactions.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
