Job summary

Techture in Nagpur, India seeks an experienced BIM professional to lead structural modeling aligning with architectural and MEP designs. You will develop and coordinate Revit-based models, manage QA/QC, and support project teams across RCC, steel, and wood structures.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience in Structural BIM/Modeling, familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection, and knowledge of BIM standards including ISO 19650. Hybrid/dedicated coordination with clients may be involved.

Job description

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Structural BIM/Modeling .
• Experience working on US/Canada, UAE-based structural projects is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in RCC, Steel, and/or Wood structures are preferred.

2. Technical & BIM Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit Structure .
• Good understanding of structural modeling workflows, BIM standards, LOD 300/350/400 , and model development.
• Ability to develop and maintain structural models based on architectural and structural design documents .
• Experience with Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• Familiarity with ACC/BIM 360 and cloud-based model coordination is an advantage.

3. Coordination & QA/QC

• Ability to coordinate structural models with Architectural and MEP models .
• Good understanding of structural QA/QC processes and checklists .
• Ability to review team members' models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards .

4. Team Coordination

• Support the BIM Coordinator/Project Manager in day-to-day team coordination and task allocation .
• Track project progress and ensure assigned tasks are completed within the required timelines.
• Coordinate with BIM Engineers/Modelers to resolve technical issues.
• Should be capable of guiding junior team members on Revit modeling standards and project workflows .

5. Documentation & Standards

• Understanding of BEP, BIM standards, project templates, naming conventions, worksets, shared coordinates, and model setup .
• Ability to maintain project documentation and support the implementation of project-specific BIM standards .
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 is an advantage.

6. Communication

• Good written and verbal communication skills .
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and, when required, participate in client coordination meetings .
• Should be able to understand client instructions and convert them into clear tasks for the modeling team.

7. Preferred Skills

• Exposure to structural design concepts and understanding of load paths and structural systems.
• Experience with Dynamo/Revit automation is an advantage.
• Exposure to Tekla, Advance Steel, SDS2, or other structural detailing software is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a BIM Coordinator/Assistant Coordinator role will be preferred
