Job summary

Tecvesten in Chennai seeks an Associate - Technical Consultant to design, implement, and support Zoho-based solutions for clients and internal teams. You will work hands-on with Zoho CRM, Projects, Books, and Creator to translate business requirements into effective configurations and customizations.

You will build custom modules, automate workflows with Deluge scripts, manage integrations via Zoho Flow and APIs, and ensure data integrity through testing, migrations, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years hands-on Zoho CRM/Projects/Books/Creator experience.
• Deluge scripting for custom functions and automation.
• Understanding of Zoho Flow, APIs, and third-party integrations.

Job Description

We are looking for an Associate - Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in the Zoho ecosystem (CRM, Projects, Books, Creator) to help design, implement, and support Zoho-based solutions for our clients/internal teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Zoho configurations and customizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and customize Zoho applications (CRM, Projects, Books, Creator) based on client/business requirements.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Build custom modules, workflows, blueprints, functions (Deluge scripting), and automation within Zoho CRM and Creator.
• Set up and manage integrations between Zoho apps and third-party systems (via Zoho Flow, APIs, or webhooks).
• Configure Zoho Books for accounting workflows including invoicing, billing, and financial reporting as needed.
• Manage Zoho Projects setup including task management, timesheets, and project workflows.
• Perform data migration, data cleansing, and data validation across Zoho applications.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of configured solutions before deployment.
• Prepare documentation including solution design documents, user manuals, and training materials.
• Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, project managers, developers) to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Stay updated with new Zoho features, updates, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience working with Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, Zoho Books, and Zoho Creator.
• Working knowledge of Deluge scripting for custom functions and automation.
• Understanding of Zoho Flow, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Basic understanding of business processes such as sales, accounting, and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.

Preferred/Good to Have

• Experience with other Zoho One apps (Zoho Desk, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Inventory, etc.).
• Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role.
