Job summary

• Work with hiring managers to prepare and present offers to candidates.
• Collaborate with Wellbeing Partner and BU Leads to build a proactive talent network.
• Infuse technology and operational improvements across the TA lifecycle to improve metrics.

About the role

Associate, Talent Acquisition will own full‑cycle recruiting for targeted job families in the business. This role would drive the cause of hiring excellent talent at the right time & cost by effectively leveraging a mix of talent‑sourcing channels.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering high quality candidates, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process in an expedient manner.
• Manages sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and recommending qualified candidates for assigned requisitions.
• Conduct regular follow‑up meetings with managers and business leaders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
• Actively develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future business needs.
• Utilize creative and cost‑effective sourcing strategies.
• Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting/interviewing techniques in order to be competitive in state‑of‑the‑art recruiting practices.
• Work with hiring managers to prepare and present job offers to candidates.
• Work with the P&C Wellbeing Partner and BU/Function Leads to develop a strategy that builds a proactive talent network.
• Infuse technology and operational improvements throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle that improve key recruiting metrics and drive business results.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability with and interest in recruiting for a diverse spectrum of positions.
• Experience working in an environment that embraces technology, including previous experience managing/implementing recruiting applications/social media and other recruiting tools.
• Experience in salary negotiations with candidates.
• Strong team player; the ability to work closely with the broader recruiting team members and hiring managers.
• Must have a "solutions-focus", being able to sort through information and develop innovative solutions quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a balance of quality as well as quantity of candidates and hires.
• Effective sourcing skills, problem solving, cross‑group collaboration, and oral/written/persuasive communication skills are necessary.
