Job summary

Roots Group in Coimbatore North, India is seeking a procurement and inventory professional to manage stock updates and coordinate subcontract parts.

You will work to align purchase orders, release schedules, and supplier deliveries to meet production plans for Fettling, Machining, and Surface treatment.

This role requires hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong coordination skills to ensure timely availability of components.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP-based inventory updation and stock control.
• Familiarity with subcontract parts procurement and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of purchase orders and release scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain inventory levels and stock records.
• Coordinate subcontract parts, collection, transport, and monitoring.
• Follow up with suppliers to meet dispatch plans for Fettling, Machining, and Surface treatment.
• Review inventory values and monitor asset status.
• Plan requirements for finished components, subcontracted, and electronics (mechanical) parts.
• Prepare purchase orders and release schedules for suppliers.
