Job summary

Clarivate in Chennai is seeking an Associate STEM Content Analyst to join the Chemistry team and work on Derwent. You will extract novel information from patents and apply DWPI codes according to editorial policies, ensuring high quality outputs.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc in Chemistry and may have up to two years of related experience. This full-time role requires analytical thinking, a proactive approach to learning, and a nine-hour workday, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MSc in Chemistry (General/Organic/Pharmaceutical).
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of related experience welcome.
• Comprehensive knowledge of chemistry, including nomenclature, reactions, formulas, inorganic chemistry, catalysts, additives and their functions.

• Achieve production volume and quality targets.

We are looking for an (Associate) STEM Content Analyst to join our Chemistry team in Chennai. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Derwent. About You

• Must be a M.Sc Chemistry/General Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry graduate.
• Can be a fresh grad or can have one - two years of experience in related domain.
• Comprehensive knowledge of chemistry, include chemical nomenclature, reactions, formulae, inorganic chemistry, Catalysts, additives and their functions.
• Knowledge in chemical drawing packages, e.g., ISIS Draw

• Extract the novel information from patent and value-add by using DWPI codes in line with editorial policies and conventions.
• Achieve production volume and quality targets.
• Maintain a flexible and adaptable approach towards process change.
• To take responsibility for identifying technology training and developmental needs for yourself on an on-going basis.

Hours of Work

9 hours per day (Full-time) - including one hour break Workdays: Monday to Friday
