Job summary

Clarivate is seeking an Associate STEM Content Analyst to join our Patent Biblio Curation-Classification Review Team. The role focuses on patent bibliographic data curation in the IP space, with emphasis on accuracy and adherence to editorial policies.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc/M.Sc in a STEM field, has strong English communication, and is enthusiastic about learning patent processes. This is a full-time position based in India, Tamil Nadu, with standard office hours (IST).

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate in B.Sc/M.Sc - Mathematics, Physics (includes Allied Courses), Computer Science, BCA/MCA (Freshers Preferred).
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge & understanding of patents and patent searches is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data correction and standardising patent bibliographic information.
• Create patent families in line with editorial policies and conventions.
• Consistently meet defined production volume and quality targets.
• Track and record performance against assigned targets.
• Stay updated on developments within relevant technology domains.

About You

• Should have knowledge & understanding of the process in Patents and Patents Search an advantage.
• Must possess excellent English written and verbal communication skill along with computer literacy.

It would be great if you also had

• Good understanding of Patents & computers including MS office.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Data correction & Standardising Patent Bibliographic information, and creation of Patent families in line with editorial policies and conventions.
• Consistently meet defined production volume and quality targets
• Track and record performance against assigned targets
• Stay updated on developments within relevant technology domains
• Ensure high and consistent quality in all deliverables

Hours of Work

(full-time, permanent)

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST, including a one-hour break.
