Responsibilities

• Evaluate corporate borrowers and financing opportunities through financial and credit analysis.
• Assist in structuring debt transactions based on borrower funding requirements and credit profile.
• Prepare and review Term Sheets, Information Memorandums (IMs), credit notes and transaction presentations.
• Coordinate with lenders, financial institutions, credit teams, legal advisors and other stakeholders.
• Support lender due diligence, data collation, queries and transaction discussions.
• Review and coordinate sanction terms, facility documentation and lender documentation.
• Track transaction milestones from mandate to financial closure/disbursement.
• Conduct industry, business, financial and credit research to assess feasibility.
• Support senior team members in managing multiple debt syndication/structured finance transactions.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate / Sr. Associate Debt Syndication to support the end-to-end execution of debt financing and structured finance transactions. The role will involve credit assessment, transaction structuring, preparation of financing materials, coordination with lenders and supporting documentation through transaction closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate corporate borrowers and financing opportunities through financial and credit analysis.
• Assist in structuring debt transactions based on the borrower's funding requirements and credit profile.
• Prepare and review Term Sheets, Information Memorandums (IMs), credit notes and transaction presentations.
• Coordinate with lenders, financial institutions, credit teams, legal advisors and other stakeholders.
• Support lender due diligence, data collation, queries and transaction discussions.
• Review and coordinate sanction terms, facility documentation and lender documentation.
• Track transaction milestones from initial mandate through financial closure/disbursement.
• Conduct industry, business, financial and credit research to assess transaction feasibility.
• Support senior team members in managing multiple debt syndication / structured finance transactions simultaneously.

Candidate Profile

• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in Debt Syndication, Structured Finance, Corporate Banking, Credit or related areas.
• Strong understanding of corporate credit, debt products and financing structures.
• Hands-on experience in credit assessment, financial analysis and preparation of Term Sheets / IMs.
• Exposure to lender coordination and debt transaction documentation.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and documentation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
• CA / MBA Finance / CFA / equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
