Job summary

Neo Wealth and Asset Management in Mumbai seeks an analytical investment professional to develop and backtest strategies around corporate actions, using historical data and signals to uncover alpha.

You’ll model REITs/InvITs, build sector frameworks, and design dashboards for real-time monitoring of event-driven ideas, presenting theses with risk-reward analysis and scenario planning.

Job description

• Build and backtest trading strategies around corporate actions (e.g., open offers, IPO listings, demergers, rights issues), using historical data, flows, and valuation signals
• Model and track REITs/InvITs to identify opportunities across yield spreads, asset quality, and market flows in this rapidly growing asset class
• Develop sector-specific investment frameworks, mapping industry structures, company fundamentals, and valuation drivers
• Design analytics dashboards and real-time monitors for special situation pipelines, price actions, and event triggers
• Present original investment theses and event summaries with risk-reward assessment and scenario analysis
• Proactively explore new event themes or structural dislocations that can be built into scalable investment ideas
