Job summary

Mags Consulting in Chennai is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable services in C# and ASP.NET Core, with emphasis on API development and data integrations. You will own components through releases, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product and operations to deliver reliable deployments and robust security.

Strong PostgreSQL, token-based authentication, RBAC, testing, and CI/CD familiarity are required.

Requirements

• Proven experience building ASP.NET Core APIs and background services.


• Strong relational database skills (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design and query tuning.


• Experience with token-based authentication and role-based access control.


• Proficiency in automated testing, code review and continuous integration.


• Track record of owning a product or major component through multiple releases.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience integrating AI models through APIs, including prompt design and output evaluation.
