Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Social Trainee to assist the Social Media team with cadence, catalog management, and content calendars, while converting vendor SKUs and coordinating with cross-functional teams across marketing, creative, and affiliates.

You will help with monthly and quarterly reporting, trend research, influencer partnership workflows, and vendor invoicing, ensuring accurate posting across Instagram and TikTok and maintaining brand consistency across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or fashion merchandising.
• 1-2 years of digital marketing & social media experience.
• Proficient knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Pinterest, and YouTube.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace / Office Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Knowledge of luxury products and luxury markets; copywriting experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Social Media team on day-to-day functions such as cadencing, cataloging, and maintaining content calendars.
• Create Comp Decks for weekly social planning, translate/upload/QA social feature SKUs, submit Wrike requests, manage IG Stories and coordinate with vendors.
• Work cross-functionally with Pod Initiatives, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Sample Management, and Affiliates teams.
• Support monthly and campaign-specific reporting needs, including COOP metrics and general Social metrics.
• Own the process of pulling and organizing monthly content for ABG/Barneys and deliver to their team to post.
• Relay influencer program workflows and collaborate on content usage.
• Coordinate day-to-day communication with external partners and manage invoicing and approvals.

Role Summary

As a Social Trainee, you will support the Social Media team on day-to-day functions such as cadencing, updating Facebook catalogs, and maintaining content calendars. In this fast-paced role, you will work cross-functionally with teams across the organization (such as Pod Initiatives, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Sample Management, and Affiliates), coordinate with external partners/agencies, handle monthly and quarterly reporting, research social trends, and assist with vendor invoicing and influencer partnership workflows.

• Support the Social Media team on day-to-day functions such as cadencing, cataloging, and maintaining content calendars, including conversion of vendor SKUs to Saks SVS throughout comp decks.
• Create Comp Decks for weekly social planning, translate/upload/QA social feature SKUs, submit Wrike requests, manage IG Stories (Bitly links, SKU boosting, reviewing for errors on Box), and route posts to vendors for approval.
• Work cross-functionally across the organization with Pod Initiatives, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Sample Management, and Affiliates teams.
• Support monthly and campaign-specific reporting needs, including COOP metrics (monthly), ROMI (quarterly), Saks Live (quarterly), Partnerships (ad hoc), and general Social metrics (quarterly/as needed).
• Own the process of pulling, labeling, and organizing monthly content for ABG/Barneys and delivering it to their team to post.
• Relay Influencer Affiliate Program UGC recommendations to the organic social team for approval and collaborate on content usage.
• Manage Link in Bio/Dash management by updating SKUs after posting across Instagram and TikTok.
• Research and curate social trends, cultural events, competitive initiatives, and update the Social Swipes Deck with new insights.
• Support the team with scope-of-work creation for influencer and designer partnerships.
• Coordinate day-to-day communication with external partners and agencies, ensuring team documents are up to date and properly maintained.
• Handle vendor invoicing, ensuring proper documentation, submission, and payment success.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or fashion merchandising.
• 1-2 years of digital marketing & social media experience.
• Proficient knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Pinterest, and YouTube.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace / Office Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Knowledge of luxury products and luxury markets; copywriting experience is a plus.
• Possess a mix of creative and strategic abilities with strong organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills.
