Job summary

Siemens in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Associate Scrum Master to drive agile execution across product teams. You will help ensure processes are followed and facilitate critical ceremonies to keep delivery on track.

Based in Bengaluru, you will coordinate with Product Owner and stakeholders, manage dependencies, remove impediments, and monitor sprint progress to deliver high-quality software in a global, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 7–10 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and HTML5 for web apps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with TDD/BDD approaches and solid testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Scrum Team in cross-team discussions and with Product Owner.
• Ensure adherence to defined development and PLM processes.
• Moderate sprint planning and estimation meetings.
• Maintain and prioritize the team backlog to align with product goals.
• Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and team meetings.
• Track sprint execution, delivery commitments, and dependencies.

• Represent the Takt Team in Product Creation Team (PCT) and cross-team discussions.
• Ensure the team follows defined development and PLM processes.
• Moderate sprint planning and estimation meetings.
• Maintain and prioritize the team backlog in alignment with the Product Owner.
• Keep the team focused on sprint objectives and takt goals.
• Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and team meetings.
• Coordinate work-package creation and ensure team commitment to sprint goals.
• Support problem-solving and remove impediments affecting team progress.
• Escalate risks, issues, and resource constraints to the Product Owner with proposed mitigation measures.
• Synchronize with other teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies.
• Track sprint execution, progress, and delivery commitments

Use your skills to move the world forward!

• We are looking for Engineering degree B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc with good academic record and 7 to 10 years of demonstrable experience in software development.
• Having knowledge in Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, Web Application Development would be advantage.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
