Job summary

Genpact in India (Dadri, Uttar Pradesh) invites applications for a Sr. Specialist - S&P - Procurement Ops to manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to PO, develop supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization across the organization.

You will collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams, ensure contract and compliance standards, and contribute to process improvements using analytics and automation in a fast-moving, AI-powered setting at Genpact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Master's degree in Operations Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Procurement Management: Manage requisition to purchase order creation and supplier delivery.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain supplier relationships for quality and timely delivery.
• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Support sourcing initiatives, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings.
• Contract Management: Assist in drafting, reviewing and managing procurement contracts and renewals.
• Purchase Order & Documentation Management: Create and track POs; maintain procurement records.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure activities comply with policies and laws; identify risks.
• Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation: Facilitate onboarding and due diligence; conduct supplier evaluations.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Align procurement with business needs; liaise with internal teams.
• Reporting & Analytics: Prepare spend analyses and procurement reports.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement automation tools.

Job Description

• End-to-End Procurement Management Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order creation and supplier delivery. Ensure timely sourcing and procurement of goods and services in line with organizational requirements.
• Supplier Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization Support strategic sourcing initiatives by identifying potential suppliers and negotiating terms to achieve cost savings. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to drive procurement decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to consolidate spend and optimize procurement strategies.
• Contract Management Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing procurement contracts and agreements. Ensure contract compliance and renewals in coordination with legal teams.
• Purchase Order & Documentation Management Ensure accurate and timely creation and tracking of purchase orders. Maintain procurement records and documentation as per company policies and audit requirements.
• Compliance & Risk Management Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations. Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation Facilitate vendor onboarding and due diligence processes. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to assess compliance and performance.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to align procurement activities with business needs. Act as a liaison between business units and suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement processes.
• Reporting & Analytics Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis to support decision-making. Monitor key procurement metrics and track cost‑saving initiatives.
• Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems. Support implementation of procurement automation tools and digital solutions.
