Responsibilities

• Understanding client requirements actively on calls with the business lead and converting them into actionable steps.
• Absorbing requirements shared in documentation—whether in Word or Excel.
• Involving the business for the implementation of new reports.
• Reviewing and enhancing existing reports by fine‑tuning execution plans for effective report delivery.
• Gaining an understanding of the current database and reporting architecture.
• Adopting best practices to ensure replication and delivery at scale.
• Conforming to internal TAT standards and exemplifying collective ownership with an eye for detail.
• Demonstrating a strong ability to learn and evolve within the organization as a business intelligence solution & implementation associate.

Requirements

• MBA/BE with a strong software engineering background.
• Familiarity with Advanced SQL in any format, be it Transact‑SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, etc.
• Ability to fine‑tune complex queries and read execution plans is a plus.
• Familiarity with any programming language is a plus—be it JavaScript or Python.
• Some evidence of working with Excel is mandatory.
• Existing experience in Financial Services, Banking, Investment Banking, or related industries.
• Interest in evolving into a Data Engineering, Business Intelligence solutions role.
