Job summary

Oxane Partners is seeking a BI solutions & implementation associate in Gurgaon. You will translate client needs into actionable reports, absorb documentation, and contribute to new report implementations.

You will review existing reports, understand database/reporting architecture, and promote scalable, best-practice delivery while growing into a data engineering/BI role.

Qualifications

• MBA/BE with strong software engineering background.
• Proficient in Advanced SQL (T-SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL).
• Able to fine tune complex queries and read execution plans.
• Familiar with any programming language (JS or Python).
• Excel experience mandatory.
• Experience in Financial Services/ Banking.
• Keen to evolve into Data Engineering/BI role.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements on calls with business lead and convert to actionable steps.
• Absorb requirements from documentation (Word/Excel).
• Involve with business for implementing new reports.
• Review and enhance existing reports; fine-tune execution plans.
• Understand current database and reporting architecture.
• Adopt best practices to ensure replication and scalable delivery.
• Maintain internal Tat standards and ownership with attention to detail.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and grow as BI solutions & implementation associate.

Job Description

• Understanding client requirements actively on calls along with business lead and convert them to actionable steps.

• Gain understanding of current database and reporting architecture

• Conform to internal TAT standards and exemplify collective ownership with an eye for detail
• Mostly important-ability to learn and evolve within the organization as a business intelligence solution & implementation associate

Requirements

• MBA/BE with strong software engineering background.
• Familiarity with Advanced SQL, in any format, be it Transact-SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, etc.
• Ability to fine tune complex queries and read execution plans is a plus
• Familiarity with any programming language is a plus, be it- JS or Python
• Some evidence of working with excel is mandatory.
• Existing experience in Financial Services, Banking, Investment Banking and alike industries
• Interest to evolve into Data Engineering, Business Intelligence Solutions role
