Job summary

Genpact invites applications for an Associate - S&P - Procurement Ops. You will perform procurement tasks per SOPs, manage vendors, process RFQs, create POs, and handle queries using Ariba, SAP ERP and related tools.

You will engage with business stakeholders, resolve PO/invoice issues, support process improvements, and ensure SLAs and SOP compliance. The role includes night shift in India and opportunities to work on AI-enabled procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in business, engineering, logistics or supply chain management.
• Masters in Operations Management preferred.
• Strong procurement knowledge and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement tasks per SOPs approved by Client.
• Execute day-to-day transactional procurement processes (vendor management, RFQ, PO creation, delivery confirmation, payments).
• Contact stakeholders and vendors to resolve PO/invoice issues.
• Investigate and resolve deficiencies with suppliers or internal teams.
• Support process improvements and tool implementations.
• Meet SLAs and comply with SOPs and client policies.

Job Description

• Perform procurement related tasks as per the Standard Operating Procedure documents approved by Client
• Execute day to day transactional procurement processes (vendor management, competitive bidding/ request for quotation, PO fulfillment - requisition/PO creation, delivery/order confirmation, query management, AP issue resolution, PIR creation and maintenance, support sourcing activities and requests, contract maintenance and catalog management, translation of business communications to local language)
• Contact person for business stakeholders, vendors, internal operational teams in terms of resolving any basic issues with purchase orders, requisitions, invoices and payments
• Investigate and resolve deficiencies with suppliers or internal parties
• Support process improvements, new tool or scope implementation/standardization
• Meet or exceed all SLA's with the outmost integrity and in compliance to SOPs and client's policies.
