Job summary

Dover is seeking an Associate Repair Center at our Bhiwadi factory. You will handle repair activities of CIJ and Non-CIJ printers modules, ensure timely fixes, and document daily repair outcomes in SAP.

The role requires electronics troubleshooting, soldering quality, and adherence to ISO standards. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in in-house electronics repair, a Diploma/ITI in electronics or electrical trades, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a similar electronics repair role.
• Experience in in-house repair for electronics boards and printers/laptops/computers.

Responsibilities

• Repair activity for CIJ & Non CIJ printers modules.
• Ensure on-time repairs as per quality standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical wire harnesses and electronic cards.
• Ensure good soldering quality on PCB and wire connections.
• Maintain daily quality & repair reports in SAP.
• Maintain tools and machinery in the repair center.
• Perform 6S and support operational excellence on shop floor.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality failures.
• Follow ISO 9001/2015, ISO 14001/2015 & ISO 45001/2018 audits.

Job description

Position Title: Associate Repair Center

Reports to: Sr Manager Production

Department: Repair Center Value Stream (Supply Chain)

Location: Factory, Bhiwadi

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for repair activity of modules under CIJ & Non CIJ printers
• Repair of modules on time & as per our quality standard
• Responsible for trouble shooting in electrical wire harness / electronic card level
• Responsible for good quality of soldering on PCB or wire connection while repairing modules
• Daily Quality & repair report of modules
• Maintenance of all machinery & equipment’s in repair center department used for repair activity
• Follow all safety instruction as prescribed
• Root Cause analysis for any quality failure of parts or after module repair
• Execute 6S & Own Dover operational excellence activity execution on shop floor
• Production/ repair confirmation in SAP
• Inventory counting & matching with SAP value & gap analysis & action plan on gap
• Checking of field return material & circulate status report on daily basis
• Scrap material segregation & disposal as per protocol
• Packaging of product
• Follow all ISO standard like ISO 9001/2015, ISO 14001/2015 & ISO45001/2018- Internal audits
• Involve for root cause analysis for logistics claim/OOB/warranty failures, under repair activity products

Education/Training Required:

• Preferably a Three year Diploma in Electronics, electrical, electronics & communication or Two year regular ITI in Electronics, electrician with higher experience in same field

Work Experience Required:

• Similar position for a minimum of 3-5 years
• Worked in in-house repair for Electronics board trouble shooting & repairing especially on printers/laptop/computers
• Maintenance or customer support engineer with exposure in trouble shooting & repairing of PSU, boards with good quality of soldering

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Electronic & electrical parts & testing knowledge of these parts
• Knowledge of electrical like earthing, phase, neutral, voltage & current
• Knowledge of soldering stations, mustimeter & CRO/DRO
• Ability to read technical specification & manufacturing instruction
• Ability to read & trace electrical, electronic circuit diagrams
• Must have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT)
• Light Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage, but not mandatory
• Must be able to read & write good English. Spoken is an added advantage but not mandatory
