Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to manage the SMT line, ensure uptime and 5S compliance, and perform breakdown and preventive maintenance on SMT and peripheral equipment. You will escalate critical issues to suppliers and drive cost reductions while maintaining MTTR target and spare parts availability.

Ideal candidates have SMT process knowledge, pneumatic/electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience in diagnostics and 8D

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic manufacturing industries.
• SMT process knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to perform 8D problem solving.
• Strong analytical skills and fault prediction capability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime of SMT line, ensure 5S and safety at the workplace.
• Perform breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance of SMT & related equipment (Reflow, SPP, BHS, stencil cleaning, SMD Tower, Dry chamber, etc).
• Maintain DMC laser printer; troubleshoot and service as needed.
• Escalate major break downs to suppliers and close open points quickly.
• Work to reduce maintenance cost; manage spare parts and MTTR below target.
• Handle entire SMT line independently; perform 3-shift operations under Maintenance shift Leader.
• Apply 5Why analysis to identify RC; demonstrate deep problem solving (8D).
• Predict problems and implement preventive measures; ensure compliance with process, safety, and customer requirements.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Communication during shift change over
• Should maintain 5S, safety at his workplace
• Maintaining the uptime of the machine.
• Responsible for break down maintenance and PM of Soldering machines (Reflow, SPP, BHS, Stencil cleaning machine, SMD Tower, Dry chamber, etc).
• Responsible for break down maintenance and PM of DMC laser printer.
• Effectively escalates the open points and major breakdowns to Suppliers and close it with in shortest period.
• Should work for reducing the Maintenance Cost
• Spare parts management and follow-up to get the spare parts.
• Keep MTTR below the target level
• Should be able to handle entire SMT line independently.
• Find the R.C through 5why analysis as per the defined criteria
• "Should have good analytical skills, converting ability to solve problems on machines & lines. Should possess deep problem-solving abilities eg:8D"
• Should predict the problems in the machine and take preliminary actions to avoid the breakdown (implementation of Predictive maintenance)
• Should work for controlling the scrap and droppage
• Should work on Continuous improvement
• Responsible for individual target and department target
• Should work in 3 shifts operation and reports to Maintenance shift Leader
• Ensure the adherence to manufacturing process compliance with legal & safety requirements, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications and ensure the team also follows the same

Preferred candidate profile

Should have worked in Electronic manufacturing industries

SMT process knowledge , Pneumatic and Electrical trouble shooting

Experience in Inspection & Testing machines programing and troubleshooting

Should be team player Should have learning attitude, self learner / ability to self-learnShould be self motivated
