Job summary

Cex Webuy Entertainment in Mumbai is seeking a hands-on Gadget Repair Technician with 1–3 years of experience to install, maintain, and repair gaming consoles and peripherals.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, work with PCB soldering, manage tools, and assist customers while coordinating with vendors for parts.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, updates, and repairs gaming consoles and peripherals.
• Understands circuit boards/PCBs and soldering techniques.
• Troubleshoots and repairs to component level on supported products.
• Manages tools, test equipment, and work area.
• Assesses testing methods for products.
• Performs repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Knowledge of laptops and mobiles is a plus.
• Assists internal customers with technical issues.
• Resolves hardware and software issues across gadgets.
• Repairs laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Liaises with repair vendors to ensure stock is repaired promptly.
• Liaises with spare dealers to ensure availability of parts.
• Inventory and asset management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, updates, and repairs gaming consoles, controllers, and related peripheral equipment.
• Full understanding of circuit boards/PCBs and detailed soldering.
• Understands the theory and operation of all supported products.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair to component level on all supported products.
• Organizes and maintains assigned tools, test equipment, and work areas.
• Understanding of testing methods for our products.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Good if with decent knowledge of laptops & Mobiles.
• Helping internal customers solve technical issues
• Hands‑on experience in resolving hardware and software‑related issues on all types of gadgets.
• Well‑versed in the repairs of laptops, tablets, and smartphones
• Liaise with repair vendors/ suppliers to ensure stock is repaired and returned in a reasonable timeframe.
• Liaise with spare dealers and suppliers to ensure necessary spares are available for repairs.
• Inventory Management and Asset Management experience(preferred)
