Job summary

Impelsys in Mangalore, Karnataka, seeks an experienced Courseware Project Manager to lead end-to-end eLearning projects for global clients. You will manage plans, timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications, coordinating instructional designers, developers, designers, animators, video/audio teams, accessibility specialists and QA.

Ideal candidate has 4–10 years of eLearning project management, strong lifecycle knowledge, and experience with overseas clients and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 4 to 10 years total experience with at least 4 years in eLearning project management.
• Proven experience managing multiple eLearning, Courseware or content development projects.
• Strong experience managing overseas clients and global delivery teams.
• Solid understanding of the complete eLearning lifecycle including ID, storyboarding, visuals, development, accessibility, testing and publishing.
• Working knowledge of Articulate Storyline 360 and HTML5 frameworks.
• Good understanding of SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI and other digital learning standards.
• Understanding of LMS integration, course publishing and testing processes.
• Exposure to WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards is preferred.
• Experience with AI tools or AI-enabled Courseware workflows is an advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem solving and escalation management skills.
• PMP, Agile or similar Project Management certification is an advantage.
• Good experience and exposure on Presales practices

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Courseware Project Manager to manage end to end eLearning and digital learning projects for global clients. The ideal candidate should have strong project management experience, a solid understanding of the Courseware development lifecycle, and proven experience managing overseas clients and cross functional delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple eLearning and Courseware projects from initiation and planning through development, testing and final delivery.
• Own project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, budgets and deliverables.
• Manage overseas clients, including status meetings, reviews, requirements, escalations and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate Instructional Designers, Developers, Graphic Designers, Animators, Video and Audio teams, Accessibility specialists and QA teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards and commercial commitments.
• Manage change requests, risks, dependencies and delivery issues proactively.
• Track project progress, resource utilization, effort, productivity and delivery metrics.
• Drive adoption of AI enabled workflows across Courseware projects to improve productivity, quality and turnaround time.
• Experience in presales operations, including scope document creation, effort and cost estimation, high level project timelines, and proposal support.
• Ability to conduct market research on emerging Courseware tools, AI capabilities and industry practices, and translate insights into relevant solutions and service offerings.

Required Experience and Skills

• 4 to 10 years of total professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years of hands on eLearning Project Management experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple eLearning, Courseware, digital learning or content development projects.
• Strong experience managing overseas clients and global delivery teams.
• Good understanding of the complete eLearning lifecycle including instructional design, storyboarding, visual design, development, multimedia, accessibility, testing and publishing.
• Working knowledge of Articulate Storyline 360 and custom HTML5 frameworks.
• Good understanding of SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI and other digital learning standards.
