Job summary

ABB in India is seeking a pragmatic Project Manager to oversee small, low-complexity projects onsite in the Energy Industries division. You will lead the project team, manage schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring adherence to procedures and regulatory standards.

You should have 5+ years in project management, strong SAP and MS Project skills, and a proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team allocated to the project, motivating and monitoring resources.
• Monitor and control project progress, resources, finances, invoicing, costs and cash flow.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks while pursuing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with ABB directives, procedures, cybersecurity regulations, contractual requirements, and HSE policies.
• Secure formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgement by the customer.

Position reports to: Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your skills by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks in advance.

The work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the Automation in Energy Industries in the India Region. Main Stakeholder include Customers, Engineering Team, Vendors.

• Leading the project team allocated to the project, motivating and monitoring internal and external resources.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, resource utilization, financials, invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks while pursuing all opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with ABB directives, procedures, cybersecurity regulations, contractual requirements, and HSE policies.
• Securing formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgement by the customer.

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management and Partner/Stakeholder Management.
• You are proficient in using MS Project and other project management tools to plan and execute projects effectively.
• You have experience delivering projects in a busy business environment.
• You possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• You are highly proficient in SAP and can effectively use it to support project execution and business operations.
