ABB is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead medium-to-large EPC projects in Automation – Process Industries. You will direct the project team, establish execution approaches, and manage planning, risk, and cost controls to meet contractual targets.
The role requires 12–15 years in EPC project management, certification (PMP/PRINCE2), and strong SAP/MS Project/Primavera skills. Onsite delivery and stakeholder coordination are key.

This Position reports to: Senior Project Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your project management skills by leading the project team members to fulfill project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the expected project result.

This role is contributing to the Automation – Process Industries business. Main stakeholders are Customers, Sales & Tendering, Engineering, Procurement & Supply Chain, Project Execution teams, Finance, QHSE, Suppliers, and Business Management.
You will be mainly accountable for: Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. Managing the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
The Process Industries Division serves the mining, minerals processing, metals, cement, pulp and paper, battery manufacturing, and food and beverage, as well as their associated service industries. The Division brings deep industry domain expertise coupled with the ability to integrate both automation and electrical systems, increase productivity and reduce overall capital and operating costs for customers. For mining, metals and cement customers, solutions include specialized products and services, as well as total production systems. The Division designs, plans, engineers, supplies, installs and commissions integrated electrical and motion systems, including electric equipment, drives, motors, high power rectifiers and equipment for automation and supervisory control within a variety of areas including mineral handling, mining operations, aluminum smelting, hot and cold steel applications and cement production. The offering for the pulp and paper industries includes control systems, quality control systems, drive systems, on-line sensors, actuators and field instruments. Digitalization solutions, including collaborative operations and augmented reality, help improve plant and enterprise productivity, and reduce maintenance and energy costs.
