Job summary

LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad is seeking an Associate Professional Middleware Engineer specializing in MFT to manage enterprise secure file transfers between internal systems and external partners.

The role requires hands-on experience with Tumbleweed/Axway, SFTP/AS2/EDIFACT, and strong security and compliance know-how. You will monitor jobs, implement encryption, and collaborate with IT teams to expand the B2B integration footprint.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years middleware/infrastructure experience with 3+ years in MFT/secure file transfer platforms
• Hands-on experience with Tumbleweed or Axway Secure Transport/Gateway for B2B file transfers
• Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, and EDI
• Experience with PGP key management and certificate lifecycle management
• Unix/Linux administration and scripting skills (Shell, Python)
• Understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and B2B integration concepts
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for file transfer (SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)

• Maintain audit trails, compliance documentation, and file transfer operational runbooks

Job Overview

The Associate Professional Middleware Engineer specializing in Tumbleweed manages enterprise secure file transfer and managed file transfer (MFT) infrastructure. This role ensures reliable, secure, and compliant file exchange between internal systems and external partners.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience with Axway API Gateway or IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
• Knowledge of cloud-based MFT solutions (Axway Secure transport)
• Exposure to automation of file transfer workflows using scripting or RPA Preferences:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant MFT or file transfer security certifications are advantageous
