About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our Product team. As an APM, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and Business teams to build and enhance innovative products in the climate-tech and fintech ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of product management experience who enjoys solving complex business problems, thrives in a startup environment, and is passionate about building customer-centric products. You'll gain hands‑on experience across the complete product lifecycle—from product discovery and execution to launch and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Execution
- Assist in defining product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization.
- Translate business and customer requirements into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Engineering and Design teams to ensure timely and high‑quality product delivery.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate feature releases and support product launches.
- Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and identify user pain points.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities.
- Validate product ideas through customer insights and data.
Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product priorities and timelines.
- Support go‑to‑market planning and feature adoption initiatives.
Product Analytics
- Track key product metrics and feature adoption.
- Analyze user behavior and recommend product improvements.
- Support data‑driven decision‑making through experimentation and performance analysis.
Mandatory Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Product Management or Associate Product Management.
- Graduate from IIT or MBA from IIM (Mandatory).
- Prior experience working in a high‑growth startup environment (Mandatory).
- Experience building or managing Fintech and/or B2B SaaS products.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum product development methodologies.
- Experience writing PRDs, user stories, and managing product backlogs.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
- Customer‑first mindset with a passion for building impactful digital products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Climate Tech, Carbon Markets, ESG, Sustainability, or Renewable Energy.
- Experience working with APIs, dashboards, data platforms, or workflow automation tools.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of SQL or data analysis is an added advantage.
