Job summary

Rocket India, a Rocket Mortgage subsidiary, is seeking an Associate Product Manager to translate business needs into scalable fintech and SaaS product solutions. You’ll partner with engineering, design, QA, analytics, and global product teams to deliver user-focused features and measure outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience in product management, and comfort with Agile ceremonies in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, fintech, SaaS, or related technology roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into user stories, product specifications, or functional documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product delivery practices.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar product and collaboration platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage priorities, support multiple workstreams, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to analyze fintech trends, customer needs, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies that can inform product strategy.
• Translate business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Support product roadmap planning by helping prioritize features, track progress, and align delivery with business goals.

• Use product analytics and performance data to measure outcomes, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Gather and synthesize customer and stakeholder feedback to improve usability, adoption, and product value.
• Prepare product specifications, release notes, training materials, and other documentation to support product launches and enhancements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and execution tracking.
• Stay informed on fintech, SaaS, AI, mortgage, lending, and personal finance trends to support future product opportunities.
