Job summary

Rocket India is seeking skilled engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET Core. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, optimize performance and security, and collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and cloud platforms (Azure or GCP). Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD is valued.

About the Role

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions that power critical business operations
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following engineering best practices
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design and scalability planning
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
• Integrate applications with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP for hosting and managed services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, reliability, and security
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Work closely with cross-functional teams — including product owners, QA, and fellow engineers — to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements to existing systems
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies as an active and engaged team member

About You

Minimum Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software development using C#, ASP.NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including database design and query optimization
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization principles
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint-based delivery cycles

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
• Exposure to event-driven architectures or messaging systems like Kafka
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools for application health and performance
• Prior experience working in a product engineering environment with cross-functional teams
• Curiosity about AI/ML technologies and a willingness to explore how they can enhance engineering workflows
