Job summary

Masai is an EdTech platform delivering outcome-driven programs for learners and organizations across India. An Associate Product Manager will help streamline product operations, coordinate across Product, Engineering, Design, Business and Operations, and support smooth launches and ongoing improvements.

We seek a detail-oriented, execution-driven professional with 1–3 years of experience in product operations or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the product team to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, design, business and operations teams for feature development and releases.
• Maintain product documentation, SOPs, release notes and workflows.
• Monitor issues, bugs and requests; ensure timely resolution with stakeholders.
• Track product performance metrics and prepare data-driven reports.
• Assist in user acceptance testing and validate new features before release.
• Gather customer feedback to prioritize operational improvements.
• Manage backlogs, tickets and workflows using Jira or similar tools.
• Communicate updates across teams about releases and changes.
• Identify process gaps and propose automation or efficiency improvements.
• Support onboarding and training for internal teams on new features.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-driven Associate Product Manager professional who can help streamline product operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth product launches and ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Product team to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives.
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Business, and Operations teams to track feature development and releases.
• Maintain product documentation, SOPs, release notes, and process workflows.
• Monitor product issues, bugs, and enhancement requests, ensuring timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Track product performance metrics and prepare reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate new features before release.
• Gather customer feedback from internal and external stakeholders and help prioritize operational improvements.
• Manage product backlogs, tickets, and workflows using tools like Jira or similar platforms.
• Ensure timely communication of product updates, releases, and operational changes across teams.
• Identify process gaps and recommend automation or operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support onboarding and training for internal teams on new product features and workflows.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Business Operations, Project Coordination, or a similar role.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Notion, Google Sheets/Excel, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
• Basic understanding of SaaS products and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or technology-driven organizations.
• Comfortable working with product, engineering, and business teams.
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on execution and operational excellence.
• Experience supporting product launches, release management, or product support processes.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or other analytics tools is a plus.
