Job summary

Momentive Software in Pune, India is seeking a procurement professional to support PR to PO lifecycle and global purchasing processes. You will manage PR/PO creation, vendor onboarding, and ensure accurate GL coding and cost center allocation, while coordinating with contract teams and stakeholders to meet timelines and compliance.

Experience in ERP (SAP) and MS Excel is preferred, with 2–3 years in procurement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Good understanding of PR to PO cycle.
• Knowledge of GL coding and cost centers.
• Experience in vendor management and query handling.
• Basic understanding of contracts and commercial terms.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and process PRs in the system on behalf of requesters.
• Manage PR/PO creation for global locations (US, Philippines, UK, Australia).
• Handle the procurement mailbox, addressing queries from stakeholders and vendors.
• Process PO amendments with proper documentation and approvals.
• Validate pricing documents/quotations before PR creation.
• Coordinate with the contract team for contract creation, wherever applicable.
• Ensure timely approval and processing of POs.
• Support vendor management activities, including onboarding, communication, and follow-ups.
• Ensure correct GL coding and cost center allocation for all procurement transactions.
• Track the PR to PO lifecycle and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all procurement activities.
• Assist in reviewing and maintaining contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for requirement clarification, issue resolution, and status updates.
• Prepare MIS reports and procurement trackers as required.
