Job summary

Momentive Software in Pune, India, is seeking a seasoned Finance Analyst to drive forward-looking analysis, forecast trends, and monthly reporting.

You'll own P&L consolidation, variance analyses (Budget vs Actual, Forecast vs Actual, YoY, MoM), support budgeting and month-end close, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decisions.

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial software are required. A Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of related experience expected.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent.
• Proficient in Office 365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications.
• Financial Analysis Software, Financial Research and Analytics Software.
• Prepare and analyse monthly P&L statements.
• Conduct variance analysis (Budget vs Actual, Forecast vs Actual, YoY, MoM).
• Prepare variance commentary for monthly management reporting.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Support month-end close activities by validating financial data and ensuring reporting accuracy.

• Conduct detailed variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual, Forecast vs. Actual, YoY, and MoM) to identify key revenue and cost drivers.
• Prepare variance commentary for monthly management reporting.
  Support annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Support month-end close activities by validating financial data and ensuring reporting accuracy
