Job summary

Acuity Analytics, Gurgaon, invites applications for an Associate to join our Private Markets team. You will support portfolio monitoring, financial analysis, and bespoke reporting for private equity clients.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, with exposure to Power BI and MS Access being a plus. The role reports to Delivery Manager and is based in Gurgaon. Strong analytical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate / CFA / CA / MBA / CCRA / CIIA / CAIA & equivalent.
• 1-10 years of experience in relevant financial services incl. management reporting or operational finance.
• E - front + ilevel + Knowledge of AI capabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Updating and managing portfolio details of various private equity funds.
• Updating predefined investor quarterly reporting templates.
• Analyze PE Funds performance through fund cash flows and quarterly/financial reports.
• Calculate fund valuation data (cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, gross/net IRR).
• Track operational KPIs and provide quarterly updates.
• Create/update fund track record and reconcile data using cash flow notices.
• Compute fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and analytics.
• Reconcile portfolio level data including geography, HQ, and leverage.
• Coordinate with teams to obtain information on time and update clients on status.

Job Purpose

Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated & self-driven professional to join our global Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting team. This role requires to work closely as an extended team member for a private equity client and will assist them on financial analysis and portfolio monitoring

Key Responsibilities

• Updating and managing portfolio details of various private equity funds.
• Updating pre-defined investor specific quarterly bespoke reporting templates.
• Analyze PE Funds performance by going through fund cash flows and quarterly/financial reports
• Anlyzing and calculating fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized / unrealized value, gross / net multiple, gross / net IRR and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, valuation / leverage multiples etc.
• Tracking the performance of operational KPIs and operational updates on quarterly basis
• Creating / updating fund track record and reconciling the data using cash flow notices
• Calculating fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and performing various fund analytics such as attribution and value creation analysis
• Reconciling the portfolio level operational data including geographical presence, headquarter and portfolio leverage
• Coordinating with different teams to get right information on time and communicating on a constant basis with clients on the status of tasks.

Key Competencies

• Post-graduate / CFA / CA / MBA / CCRA / CIIA / CAIA & equivalent.
• 1 - 10 years of experience in relevant financial services experience incl. Management Reporting or Operational Finance, preferably with some research experience.
• E - front + ilevel + Power BI + Microsoft Access experience is an added advantage
• Good to have: Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus.
