Acuity Analytics in Gurgaon is seeking an Associate for its Private Markets team. You will handle private equity fund accounting, quarterly valuations, and investor reporting from Gurgaon.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in PE fund accounting, an MBA or equivalent, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with CapIQ/Preqin; excellent communication and client delivery are essential.

Qualificações

• MBA or postgraduate degree from a reputed Institute.
• 2-4 years of strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting.
• Knowledge of Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Financial Services Industry trends.
• Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel/Word.
• CapIQ and Preqin knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to own and deliver projects per client requirements and timelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Credit or Fund of Funds is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Track quarterly valuations from capital accounts and roll forward valuations using cash flow notices.
• Track commitments and unfunded obligations using cash flow notices and capital accounts.
• Capture fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized/unrealized value and KPIs like IRR.
• Analyze PE fund performance from quarterly/financial reports.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports on NAV, TVPI, IRRs and capital accounts.
• Track operational KPIs and provide quarterly updates.
• Compute fund multiples and IRRs via cash flows and perform attribution analyses.
• Manage client relationships and deliverables on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cycles.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.

Basic Information

Job Purpose

We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals with strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Private Equity and Private Credit team based in Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

• Track quarterly valuations from Capital accounts, Rolling forward Valuations using Cash Flow notices
• Track Original Commitments, unfunded obligations using Cashflows notices, Capital accounts
• Capture fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized / unrealized value, gross / net multiple, gross / net IRR and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt etc.
• Analyze PE Funds performance by going through fund literature such as quarterly/financial reports
• Preparation of quarterly reports to investors on the funds’ and portfolio companies’ performance (comprising NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs, costs and investors’ capital accounts)
• Tracking the performance of operational KPIs and operational updates on quarterly basis
• Calculating fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and performing various fund analytics such as attribution and value creation analysis
• Managing the client relationships for the Funds and individually handle the deliverable requirements on daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly basis.
• Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improve the process efficiency and team productivity

Key Competencies

• 2-4 years of strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting
• MBA or other Post-Graduate or Professional Degree from a reputed Institute
• Knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Financial Services Industry (FSI) trends
• Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel
• Knowledge of databases including CapIQ, Preqin is an added advantage
• Ability to take complete ownership and deliver the projects as per client requirements and timeline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct high-quality project-level conversations with clients
• Prior knowledge and experience in Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Credit, Co-investment, Fund of Funds
• Good to have: Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus.
