Job summary

Ingram Micro, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Manager at the Bhiwandi location. The role oversees receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. You will manage cycle counts, train staff, and drive operational improvements to meet service levels.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in warehouse management, preferably with e-commerce or tech exposure, and holds relevant certifications in logistics and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate with management focus preferred for logistics or SCM.
• Strong knowledge of inventory controls and cycle counts.
• Experience with setting up warehouse operations and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch.
• Control inventory with regular cycle and physical stock audits.
• Lead and train warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Design workflows, space layouts, and equipment utilization.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and meet performance targets.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor costs vs. budget and prepare Capex/opex plans.
• Support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

JD for Warehouse Role (Bhiwandi Location)

• Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
• Responsible for Efficient inventory management through regular cycle and physical stock audit and maintaining zero variance.
• Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory and shipping methods
• Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
• Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
• Responsible for warehouse Operation cost vs Budget Cost, make warehouse budget for Capex and Operation expenses.
• Min 10 years of warehouse management experience, ideally with an e-commerce or Technology company with some data analytics experience.
• Education: Graduate in any discipline with Management Graduates in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
• Prior experience of setting up warehouses is desirable.
• Certification: Six Sigma Green Belt , 5S *ASCM CLTD & KnoWerX PGP CWMP (Certified Warehouse Management Professional)* will also be beneficial. Not mandatory requirement of company but having these certifications will provide knowledge giving an edge over others
