Job summary

Carrier is seeking an established professional in Manufacturing Operations to oversee warehouse management and drive operational excellence. The role emphasizes RFID-enabled warehouse automation, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy to support cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As part of the leadership team, you will shape annual warehouse strategy, monitor key metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across picking, packing, and line fulfillment.

• Create and maintain efficient reporting and management tools to reveal root causes of returns and drive cost savings and customer satisfaction.
• Manage warehouse automation projects, implementation and daily operation (RFID).
• Assess current and future requirements to determine optimal logistics strategy and warehouse footprint.
• Collaborate with management to develop an annual 3-year warehouse strategy and improve key cost metrics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Warehouse Management


• Operational Excellence


• Cx Pilot for Warehouse Operations


• Provide daily oversight and direction of warehouse operations (picking, packing and line fulfillment).


• Leads continuous improvement program and tracks performance


• Ensure the stock cycle counting and physical inventory activities are performed according to guidelines, procedures, FP&A planning and statutory closing calendar.


• Create and maintain efficient, sustainable processes including reporting and management tools to bring visibility to the root causes of return, ensure policy adherence, and drive cost saving, and customer satisfaction.


• Operational Excellence


• Manage warehouse automation project, implementation and daily operation/maintenance (RFID)


• Assessing existing and future requirements of the organization in determining the optimal logistic strategy and warehouse footprint.


• Working with the management team, generating the annual 3- strategy for the warehouse, looking for continuous improvement in the key metric of cost as a percent of sales so as to leverage investment as we grow


• Ensure Cx tools implementation in cell as Pilot Investigate product quality problems, determine root cause, gather and analyze data and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate cause. Use Cx tools to establish approval criteria to ensure the identification of quality failure concerns for both internal and external manufactured parts and assemblies.
