Job summary

Z1 Tech, a technology-first firm in Gurugram, seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist to join a collaborative, fast-growing team. The role covers hardware/software installs, network maintenance, and cross-platform support for Windows and macOS.

1–2 years of experience and a solid grasp of security practices are required. The ideal candidate will manage LAN/WAN/VPN, handle routine reporting, and assist with network equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Experience managing LANs, WANs and VPNs.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS and Linux installations.
• Knowledge of digital security tools (e.g., 2FA) and G-Suite.

Responsibilities

• Streamline reports for team members and ensure regular reporting delivery.
• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks in Windows and MAC environments.
• Respond to service issues and requests for Windows and MAC users in a timely manner.
• Provide technical support across the company for Windows and MAC users.
• Maintain and repair routers, switches, and backup systems critical to network functionality.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot VPN.
• Troubleshoot WiFi, VPN, and other network issues and escalate as needed.

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our highly collaborative, motivated, and fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Streamline reports for team members and ensure delivery of regular reporting
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, including both Windows and MAC environments
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests related to both Windows and MAC
• Providing technical support across the company for both Windows and MAC users
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of routers, switches, and backup systems integral to network functionality
• VPN installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Basic troubleshooting and escalation of WiFi, VPN, and other network issues

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Experience in managing LANs, WANs, and VPNs
• Familiarity with system installations like laptop installations
• Knowledge of installing different operating systems-Windows, macOS, Linux
• Must understand digital security tools like two factor authentication etc
• Must understand G-Suite

Communication And Presentation Skills

• Ability to communicate to non-technical staff on the thought and process behind the technical issues that have taken place
• Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve them under time constraints

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCITP, or CCNA from a reputed institution will be an added advantage
