Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering required.

Responsibilities and impact:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality product features aligned with the product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, architects, and subject matter experts to design and implement scalable solutions that adhere to established engineering standards and reference architectures. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, AI-driven development practices, and event-driven architectures while gaining exposure to the asset management and post-trade domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development & Engineering Excellence: Develop, test, and deliver high-quality, scalable features while contributing to technical design, conducting code reviews, adhering to engineering best practices, and minimizing technical debt through clean coding.
• Agile Delivery & Collaboration: Maintain high Agile delivery standards, including effort estimation, sprint planning, and regular status updates, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to effectively translate requirements into business value.
• AI Integration & Development Tools:Integrate AI/ML capabilities—such as LLM-based workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted decision-making—into products and utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate development speed and code quality.
• System Architecture & Automation:Operate within distributed, service-oriented architectures while actively supporting CI/CD initiatives and infrastructure automation, with a specific focus on AI-augmented testing and deployment strategies.
• Domain Expertise & Talent Acquisition:Continuously build specialized domain knowledge in asset management and post-trade processing, while contributing to organizational growth through technical interviews and hiring support.

What we’re looking for:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Development Expertise:Requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering and 3-5 years of hands-on development experience. Must demonstrate core proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, React for front-end development, and SQL for database management, alongside specialized expertise in RESTful API design, AVRO/gRPC, and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Infrastructure & Agile Environment:Demands practical experience in Agile development processes and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) within major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Modern Productivity & Soft Skills:Necessitates proficiency in AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering for productivity, alongside strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Modern Engineering & Systems:Proficiency in modern Java (Streams, Lambda Expressions, Functional Programming) combined with experience building high-volume, distributed systems, utilizing containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and applying stream processing technologies like Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
• AI Integration & Advanced Tech:Advanced capability in integrating AI APIs and LLM services (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain) using RAG patterns, vector databases, and AI agent frameworks, alongside an understanding of Web 3.0 concepts and Distributed Ledger Technologies.
• Domain Expertise:Specialized domain exposure to Asset Management, Post-Trade Processing, or Reference Data platforms, facilitating the application of technical solutions within these complex financial environments.
