Job summary

Zinnia is seeking a claims processor to handle complex Annuity policy claims and perform research across multiple systems. The role emphasizes accuracy, process adherence, and timely responses in a professional environment.

You'll develop knowledge of life insurance products, maintain strong written and verbal English communication, and support shifts aligned with US business hours.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any stream; Commerce graduates preferred.
• 1+ year in life insurance domain (death claims) focusing on quality.
• Experience in a professional office with regularly scheduled shifts.
• Proficient with Windows PC applications using a keyboard.
• Must type 30+ WPM with 98% accuracy.
• Effective English business communication; email/letter writing.
• Good MS Excel and MS Outlook knowledge.
• Life Insurance domain knowledge, preferably Annuities.

Responsibilities

• Process complex claims for Annuity policies.

• Resolve moderately routine questions per guidelines.
• Perform routine research on customer inquiries.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and meet service standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Process complex claims for Annuity policies.
• Researching and processing requests while working on multiple screens and applications.
• Resolving moderately routine questions following pre-established guidelines.
• Performing routine research on customer inquiries.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and strive to meet & exceed service standards.
• Developing and maintaining a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry and of all products, services and processes performed by the team.
• Ability to work with strict timelines.
• Should be fine with non-rotating US shift timings.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Graduation in any stream, Commerce Graduate preferred.
• 1+ year of working experience (Life insurance domain (Death claims) that required a focus on quality including attention to details, accuracy, and accountability for your work product.
• Experience in a professional/office related environment that required you to work regularly scheduled shifts.
• Experience using a computer with Windows PC applications that required you to use a keyboard, navigate screens, and learn new software tools.
• Must be able to type 30+ WPM with 98% accuracy.
• Effective English business communication skills required to exchange information with client.
• Ability to solve basic mathematical problems.
• Must have basic Email/ Letter writing skills.
• Good understanding of MS Excel and MS-Outlook.
• Life Insurance domain knowledge is must (preferably Annuities).
