Job summary

Zinnia is hiring a Senior Manager, FP&A to partner with leaders across functions, drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will build financial models, support pricing decisions, headcount planning, and strategic initiatives, delivering insightful reports to senior management.

The role requires strong financial acumen, experience with ERP/BI tools, and the ability to turn data into actionable business insights within a tech/insurance context.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analytics experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting skills.
• Experience partnering with senior business and functional leaders.
• Solid understanding of P&L and linking metrics to financial outcomes.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; ERP/Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and periodic forecasting for assigned business units/functions.
• Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast; identify drivers of revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance for strategic decisions.
• Develop monthly and quarterly management reports highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and actions.

WHO YOU ARE:

The Senior Manager, FP&A will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis functions and be a business partner the technology organization. This person will be collaborating with various departments to provide financial insights, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure the financial health of the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and periodic forecasting processes for assigned businessunits/functions.
• Business Performance: Analyze actual performance against budget,forecast, and prior periods; identify key drivers of revenue, cost,margins, and profitability.
• Business Partnering: Partner closely with business and functionalleaders to provide financial guidance and support strategic andoperational decision-making.
• Management Reporting: Develop clear and insightful monthly andquarterly financial reporting for senior leadership, highlighting keytrends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to supportbusiness cases, investments, pricing decisions, headcount planning,and other strategic initiatives.
• Revenue & Margin Analysis: Develop a strong understanding ofrevenue drivers, customer economics, resource utilization, and grossmargin performance.
• Cost Management: Partner with business leaders to drive disciplinedexpense and headcount management while identifying opportunitiesfor operating leverage.
• Scenario Analysis: Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis toassess the financial impact of changing business assumptions andstrategic decisions.
• Data & Analytics: Improve the quality, automation, and scalability ofFP&A reporting and analytics, reducing manual processes andincreasing actionable insights.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Continuously strengthenforecasting accuracy, reporting processes, financial controls, and FP&Aoperating rhythms through automation.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 7-8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, businessfinance, financial analytics, private Equity or investment bankingexperience
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis,financial modeling, and management reporting.
• Experience partnering with senior business and functional leaders.
• Strong understanding of P&L and the ability to connect operationalmetrics with financial outcomes.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financialplanning/ERP/Power Bi/reporting tools preferred.
• Experience working in a technology, SaaS, insurance, financialservices, or global services organization would be advantageous.
• Exposure to globally distributed teams and multinational organizationsis preferred
