Job summary

The Adani Group is seeking a capable professional to coordinate and monitor the execution of thermal power projects from Head Office, aligning sites, engineering, procurement, contracts, planning, finance and management.

The role focuses on project governance, progress tracking, risk mitigation, stakeholder coordination, and timely reporting to leadership while ensuring compliance with governance standards and statutory norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Power Engineering required.
• MBA/PGDM in Project Management is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project sites and cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource deployment.
• Review project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions.
• Facilitate coordination between Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), Contracts, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Track procurement status of critical equipment and materials.
• Review project reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities using project management tools.
• Ensure compliance with project governance standards, timelines, quality requirements, and statutory norms.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, OEMs, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations and status updates for senior leadership.
• Monitor project claims, change orders, contractual obligations, and commercial issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project management processes.
