Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Associate Engineer (Mechanical) to support global design engineering for new product development, VAVE, and improvements. The role involves CAD modelling, detailing, and GA drawings using Creo and SolidEdge, with emphasis on 3D models, assemblies and BOM structures.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of Creo/SolidEdge experience, sheet metal exposure, and strong English communication. Independence, PM process adherence, and ability to handle large CAD assemblies are

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience on Creo platform & SolidEdge in Sheet metal domain is a must.
• Good working experience in 3D modelling and detailing on Creo with BOM generation.
• Knowledge of CO process and PLM tools is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Global Environment for Design Engineering support activities for NPD, VAVE and improvement projects.
• CAD modelling and detailing, creating General Assembly drawings using Creo and SolidEdge.
• Work on 3D models, assemblies, GA drawings, and BOM structures.
• Must work independently with minimal guidance and meet PM processes.
• Demonstrate Creo working experience and manage large CAD assemblies.

Required Competency

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience on Creo platform & SolidEdge in Sheet metal domain is a must.
• Must have good working experience in 3D modelling and detailing work on Creo with experience on generating Bills of Materials.
• Should also possess relevant experience and understanding of CO process.
• Working experience on any PLM tools. Agile or PD cloud will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process will be an added advantage.
• Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organized.
• Experience in handling large CAD assemblies in CREO and managing modifications as required.
