Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai is seeking an Associate Engineer to support Engineering Change Management. You will work on ECO creation, BOM management, AVL setup, and vendor coordination as part of the NPI process.

The role involves using Agile and Baan systems, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring on-time ECO release for new models. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or B.SC in EEE/ECE with 0–2 years in an EMS environment, strong English communication, and good MS Office

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.SC (EEE/ECE) graduate with 0–2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer in manufacturing.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Knowledge of MS Office/MS Outlook and strong analytical abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Create part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan systems.
• Create AVL in Agile & Baan systems and release documents in CDC.
• Work as a Change Analyst during NPI for new ECOs and release parts to production.
• Coordinate ECOs across manufacturing sites and ensure timely release and distribution.
• Use PLM systems to create, review, route, track, release, and distribute ECOs.
• Collaborate with Process/Product Engineering teams to review updates and modifications.
• Respond to requests from business partners and customers regarding ECOs and maintain targets for process metrics.
